The Greater Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted a luncheon featuring U.S. Representative Luis V. Gutierrez at Metro Tech on Monday, September 28. Guiérrez spoke to the audience about immigration reform and shared information about immigrants living in the United States.
Now in his twelfth term, Gutiérrez is the senior member of the Illinois delegation in the U.S. House of Representatives, and is nationally recognized for championing issues of particular importance to Latino and immigrant communities.
The event was well attended by Metro Tech employees, chamber members, the community and student representatives from the Oklahoma Latino DREAMers delegation.
