Free workforce development training at Metro Tech
Metro Tech partners with OKCommunitycares.org
OKLAHOMA CITY – Individuals whose job was impacted negatively by COVID-19 may qualify to receive workforce development training free at Metro Tech. To be eligible, individuals must be over the age of 18, and a resident of Oklahoma City. Living expense assistance may also be available to those who qualify. Classes are offered between Nov. 19-Dec. 31.
A selection of in-person and online training certifications approved for funding by the Community Cares Partners are available to help individuals expand their skills and knowledge to improve their employability.
Superintendent Aaron Collins said, “The pandemic has caused a financial hardship in our community that is monumental. We are here to help ease that burden with paid training.” Funding for training is made possible through Community Cares Partners.
