Aviation Careers Campus (ACC) hosts visitors from China

The Aviation Careers Campus (ACC) recently hosted two guests from Heilongjaiang, China, who traveled to Oklahoma interested in learning more about transportation systems. The guests - Guangxue Du, President of Harbin Railway Construction Engineering Technology School, and Jack Zhang, career tech advocate – took a tour of the ACC with Dr. Elaine Stith, Metro Technology Centers Superintendent; Cindy Friedemann, MTC Executive Officer; and Pete Lee, ACC Site Director. Joining the tour and presentation were ACC students, Yun Chen, and Chao Chang, who are both from China and speak the language.

The guests’ trip to Oklahoma stemmed from a connection made at the Association for Career and Technical Training (ACTE) conference in Las Vegas.
