Phlebotomy is the process of collecting blood. This role incldues collecting and transporting laboratory specimens safely for accurate and reliable test results. This major prepares students to properly prepare and administer injections, obtain blood samples, perform specimen collection and processing, organize blood samples and receive information in class on steps to complete national certificiation.
